The University of Business and International Studies Geneva is a learning institution that was founded by the faculty and in which we, the faculty, are part-owners. Our dedication to the institution and its students is strong. Our vision is a university that maintains the highest academic and ethical standards.

We seek to create an institutional environment that is transparent and responsive to the students, and in which the student-professor relationship is close and productive. We see ourselves not only as teachers imparting knowledge, but also as mentors who provide professional and personal guidance for our students.

We place a very high priority on obtaining high-level accreditation. We hope to be one of the first institutions to be accredited by the Centre of Accreditation and Quality Assurance of the Swiss Universities (OAQ), and that US accreditation will follow as quickly as possible thereafter. We have also designed our courses and academic standards to comply with the recent Bologna Accord which facilitates the transfer of credits within Europe.

Our graduates will:

  • Acquire the key knowledge and skills required in their respective fields – in Business Management, Communication and Media, or International Studies – together with the ability to ‘think outside the box’ and function in a multi-disciplinary environment;

  • Be technologically literate in modern computer applications and management information systems; and

  • Develop leadership skills through experiential learning.

Being a student at University of Business and International Studies Geneva will be an enriching adventure in your life. Choosing a University is one of the most important decisions you will ever make. We shall all do our best to convince you that you made the right choice.
