Bernard Menettrier de Jollin, professor in Human Resources Management at UBIS, presents:

« The mind makes the champion »

This theme of the Olympic Museum’s current exhibition is the perfect illustration for coaching and its application to students.Students often have the intellectual resources necessary to accomplish their studies, but sometimes they lack the necessary motivation to get the most out of their studies or to perform up to their full potential.  Defining a truly personal target gives the student a chance to activate his/her resources and keep focused for the duration of these studies. This approach is not intuitive and benefits from a trusted relationship with a coach who helps formulate a target, monitors progress and returns to fundamentals when appropriate. The colloquium to be held on April 19th elaborates these principles and their application to help students in their academic journey with UBIS.

Bernard Menettrier de Jollin is professor in Human Resources Management at UBIS. He has managed teams for twenty years and was trained in coaching techniques. He can thus help employees and colleagues reach their challenging goals, whether professional, academic or athletic. Thanks to these coaching techniques, he has been able to help unleash those inner resources necessary to complete everything from his own MBA and to running marathons.
