Undergraduate Conditions Print E-mail

Applicants must submit the following material to register for admission:

  • A completed and signed Application Form

  • Two Passport Size Photographs

  • A copy of the Applicant’s Passport

  • A personal statement of 200 to 300 words answering the following questions: 
    Why have you chosen the University of Business and International Studies?
    Why have you selected your program of study?
    What do you hope to achieve from your studies?
    What are your career goals?

  • Certified copy in English of 
    High school diploma   /Secondary school diploma  

  • Certified copy in English of the official
    high school / secondary school transcripts and grade point average

    Students attending the last year of high-school who require an early provisional acceptance letter for visa purposes, may provide a letter from their high-school attesting to student's expected date of graduation prior to submitting their official diploma and transcripts.
  • Official score of the TOEFL or IELTS examination
    or Certified copy of the CAE (Certificate in Advanced English)

    Minimum Requirements:

TOEFL Paper score: 550
TOEFL Computer score: 213
TOEFL Internet score: 79-80
IELTS 5.5

A non-refundable application fee of CHF 100 will be charged for each application.

All applicants must interview in person or by phone if out of the country with the Director of Admissions.

A non-refundable tuition advance of approximately 4,000 CHF is payable within 30 days of acceptance to the University. This advance tuition can be deferred to another term.
