Message from the Associate Dean

Dear Students, Former Students, Friends of UBIS,

UBIS has gone through a complete metamorphosis in 2009 and became an important new private university in Geneva. In 2010, UBIS will outgrow the framework of a small establishment of higher education and adopt the structure of a mid-size university.

UBIS has meaningful educational programs on offer and will develop new ones in Geneva and elsewhere with partner universities in 2010. The content of our Degree programs, their structure and their application in teaching will be broadened to accommodate a greater variety of students from around the world who are at different stages of their lives and professional development.

More courses will also be placed online in 2010 to raise their number to the same as our on-ground classes. This will allow students who rely on flexible study schedules to obtain a university degree with additional options on how and when they wish to follow their courses and how quickly they want to finish and obtain their Diploma.

We are excited about the growth of UBIS in 2009 and, together with you all, we look forward to an expansion of this new school's educational services in 2010.

American Academic Partnership Program

The University of Business and International Studies Geneva (UBIS) is pleased to announce its new American Academic Partnership Program (AAPP). The AAPP is a global collaborative established through an articulation agreement between UBIS and Potomac College, a regionally accredited* post secondary institution located in Washington, DC. It facilitates the transfer of UBIS credits to Potomac College so that our students can combine courses from both institutions and graduate with a degree from the United States and Europe. The Program is designed to provide a unique opportunity for UBIS students to pursue their educational goals while gaining international exposure and marketability.
